Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of CR FIXIT’s services and website. By booking a service or using this website, you agree to be bound by the following terms.
1. Services
CR FIXIT provides handyman services to both residential and commercial clients, including nurseries and preschools. All work is subject to availability and the scope agreed during quotation.
2. Bookings & Quotes

Quotes are free and valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.

Work will only begin once a quote is accepted by the client, either verbally or in writing.

All prices are based on the agreed scope of work. Any changes may result in additional charges

3. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of work unless agreed otherwise in writing.

We accept bank transfer or other agreed payment methods.

Late payments may incur an administration fee or interest in accordance with UK Late Payment legislation.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We ask for a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a booking.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee.

CR FIXIT reserves the right to cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. weather, illness, or emergency).
5. Health & Safety

We take health and safety seriously, especially in childcare environments.

Clients must ensure work areas are safe and accessible.

In nurseries/preschools, staff must be present on-site during the work unless agreed otherwise.
6. Liability

CR FIXIT carries public liability insurance and takes all reasonable care when completing work.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Clients are responsible for informing us of any hazards or structural issues prior to starting work.
7. Warranty & Workmanship

We aim for high standards and satisfaction.

If you're not happy with any part of the work, please contact us within 7 days and we’ll do our best to resolve the issue.

Warranty on workmanship may vary depending on the nature of the job; materials are covered by manufacturer warranties where applicable.
8. DBS & Safeguarding (Nurseries Only)

CR FIXIT is DBS-checked and familiar with safeguarding requirements in childcare settings.

We will always respect your policies and work discreetly and safely around children and staff.

PAYMENT
At CR FIXIT, we aim to keep the payment process simple and transparent. Please review the following information regarding how and when payments are handled.
Accepted Payment Methods:
We currently accept the following payment methods:

Business invoice (for commercial clients such as nurseries and preschools)
Payment Terms

Residential Clients: Payment is due in full upon completion of the job unless agreed otherwise.

Commercial Clients (Nurseries & Preschools): Invoices are issued upon completion and are payable within 7 days unless agreed differently in writing.

Deposits
-
For larger or multi-day jobs, a deposit may be required to cover materials or secure your booking. This will be discussed and agreed during the quotation process.

Late Payments
-
Invoices not paid within the agreed timeframe may incur a late payment fee of £25, plus statutory interest (8% + Bank of England base rate) as per the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

Continued failure to pay may result in paused services and recovery proceedings.

Receipts & Invoicing

All clients will receive a written invoice or receipt upon request.

Invoices will clearly list the work carried out, time spent, and any material charges.
